These Women you see
There are so many women who I can mention who have impacted and continue to impact my life greatly.
I have been raised by different women from different parts of the world. Everywhere I have been, God sent women that loved me so much sometimes I wonder.
I recall my primary school teacher who really supported me and celebrated my wins, I remember how she smiled whenever she called my name and said something encouraging and beautiful. I remember my primary school headmistress who loved and supported me. In high school, I met women who yet again were never reluctant to shower me with love, to support me, to speak to me, and to mentor me. Women who left a blueprint on my heart and really did set me up for the best that life has to offer.
I mean not only through their words did I learn but also through their actions as they listened to me attentively when I went to them and spoke about different matters of life, they did not dismiss me or give me an impression that what I was saying was not making sense at all. Instead, they listened, they paid attention, and afterward, they spoke to me candidly, their words covered in love and virtue, they really did want me to learn and get the best out of life.
So on this lonely road that I walked, they came and hugged me and assured me that they had my back. The same remained true as I transitioned to Japan, a foreign land non I knew. Yet again, God timely sent women my way, women who built my faith, women who cheered, and stood by me when I was in the blink of giving up and losing it.
Still today in my present journey I have women full of love, faith, and grace. Women who I look up to and desire to learn more from. They love me unconditionally and really fight for my well-being and my going on.
This would not be complete without mentioning Aunt Nalucha, who plays a significant role in my life. She has loved and cared for me so much. You inspire me greatly aunt, thank you for teaching me to give and to love fearlessly.
This is why to me, the word Woman means so much. I mean it means; mentor, coach, cherishing, nurturing, loving, powerful, strong, capable, warrior, conqueror, inspiration. I am so grateful to all the women who have poured so much into my life and have loved me so much. To those I had and to the ones I have now, thank you, may God in his glory and riches bless you abundantly. You make my life so beautiful. I am because you are
Thank you for giving me priceless treasures of love, care, and support and for giving me the ability to never doubt my abilities. Your values I still cherish today and the lessons I implement. Happy women's day to you
